Kennel Cough - We now require Kennel Cough vaccinations.

 We have 2 very nice packs - the Big Dogs -Dock, Rudder, Luke, Unk, Habebe, Hercules, Chessie, Kelly, Sam, Watson & Oakley and the Little Ones.  It feels like Jack Russell week with Cleo, Penny, Peanut, Skipper & Dueces and Banjo & pippin, as well as feline Inky. 

Basic Obedience 101 starts again Wednesday March 10th weather permitting - call for reservations.

Rates -
Doggy Daycare - $22/ day or 1/2 day $12
Boarding -            $20/1st day & $18/day thereafter
Cats-                     $15/1st day & $12/day thereafter
25% discount on additional pets boarded 

NOTE - No pickups and drop offs on Sundays (except emergency drop offs)

Important information - we like a call prior to a visit... even our best friends call before coming by, so even if it is a call from our driveway,  please call 453-7111 and let us know that you are coming by....... Pet B&B is by appointment only.

Personalized gifts with your pets photo......Please let us know if you are interested in having any of your pets photos on coffee cups, tee shirts and a variety of products. 
 

Dog obedience Training 101 - $20 per dog per 1 hour class- call for reservations 453-7111.  Group training will start on Wednesday 11-noon when the snow melts.

     Welcome to the Pet B & B, LLC website, where our guests are typically 4 legged, hairy and have wagging tails.   We have a humble country farmette turned vacation hotspot for well behaved dogs, cats and small animals located at 2097 Folly Road in the town of Burgess/ (for mailing purposes - Heathsville, VA 22473).  

Our Mission Statement is simple..... "Love all God's creatures Jesusfully" 

NO AGGRESSION WILL BE TOLERATED - if your dog is determined to be a danger to the staff or guests, we will call you and tell you or your emergency contact to come and get him/her, or place him or her in "solitary confinement" until you return and will not allow a return visit.  We want to enjoy this job and it is simply not worth $20 to take any chances with our guests and family.  You are responsible for the behavior of your pet per the contract.

We are taking the most pet friendly approach to this business.  When it is hot, we have 2 pools, air conditioning, heat, a fire alarm and a CO2 detector, a baby monitor in the B&B (which just broke, but we'll replace it soon).  The temperature is maintained at 66 degrees in the winter and the air conditioner in the kennel is on when our home AC is on.  We walk the dogs frequently and play with the dogs and cats as much as we can, as as well as saying a prayer with them each night at bedtime.  We frequently take photos and add them to this website.  The kennels are large and clean.  Pine or cedar shavings are a free service we offer, but we recommend that you bring your pets their bedding so we can make them feel at home.  We believe in Cesar Millan's philosophy of a calm and assertive disposition and encourage Socialization among the dogs.  We have a library of Cesar Milllan's Dog Whisperer DVD's which are available for your viewing at no charge, just ask.  The B&B actually stands for Bed and Blessings, and we say a prayer for each guest each night and try to love each guest Jesusfully.

Pet B&B humor..... The twins have been trained so if you call and say "how was my dog(or cat)?", you can expect their response to be "He was DELICIOUS".

Directions - Heathsville take Northumberland Highway (VSH 360) East to Hack's Neck Road & turn left - go exactly 1 mile and turn left on Folly Road and we are immediately on the left (2097 Folly Road)

Kilmarnock - take Jessie Dupont Memorial Hwy (VSH 200) North to Northumberland Highway (VSH 360) and turn left.  In about 100 yards, make the 1st right on Hacks Neck Road and go 1 mile and turn left on Folly Road.  We are the 1st driveway on the left.
