We have a ton of dogs today and they are all playing well together. Abby, Asha, Wally, Petie and Cagnie have run of the house (it is a little louder than usual). Bay, Shadow, Boo, Cindy, Sam, Heather and Jasmine, Gilda Mae, Chessie, Marley, Rags and Sally are having a pool day with Chessie, Kelly and Herc. Dad and the boys are hollding down the fort while Allie and Marley are on their way to Annapolis for a wedding.
Welcome to the Pet Bed & Breakfast, LLC website, where our guests are typically 4 legged and hairy. We have a humble country farmette turned vacation hotspot for well behaved dogs, cats and small animals located at 2097 Folly Road in the town of Burgess/ (for mailing purposes - Heathsville, VA 22473).

Our family lives on the premises, so your pets will get the attention and love that they want. They might not miss you as much as you hope they will. We can even text message or e-mail you pictures while you are gone if you like or you may visit this site for photos of your pet while you are away.

We are taking the most pet friendly approach to this business, so we have an air conditioner, a heater, a fire alarm and a CO2 detector as well as a baby monitor in the B&B (that allows us to watch and listen to the dogs when they are there and we are in the house). The temperature is maintained between 68 and 72 degrees. We walk the dogs frequently and play with the dogs and cats as much as we can, as as well as saying a prayer with them each night at bedtime. The kennels are large and clean. Pine or cedar shavings are a free service we offer, but we recommend that you bring your pets their bedding so we can make them feel at home. There are minimal times like church time or when Dad is showing real estate or Mommy is taking the kids to the pool that the guests may be temporarily unattended, but we are making a sincere effort to schedule our away time so that an adult is on the premises as much as possible.
If your pet likes green beans, eggs or cheese with his food, or there are any special touches that we can provide, please let us know so we can cater to their needs. We frequently upload photos to this site, so please bookmark it and check them out while you are away.
Because this is our home, please respect our privacy and call for an appointment to visit (preferably Monday - Friday 8AM til 6PM) by appointment only.
Directions - Heathsville take Northumberland Highway (VSH 360) East to Hack's Neck Road & turn left - go exactly 1 mile and turn left on Folly Road and we are immediately on the left (2097 Folly Road)
Kilmarnock - take Jessie Dupont Memorial Hwy (VSH 200) North to Northumberland Highway (VSH 360) and turn left. In about 100 yards, make the 1st right on Hack Neck Road and go 1 mile and turn left on Folly Road. We are the 1st driveway on the left.
